Bonnie's Story

My name is Bonnie, and boy, am I a happy girl! I’m a big white Labrador, about 75 pounds of pure sunshine. My foster family says I’m about two years old, and I’ve learned so much since I arrived. Sit? Easy peasy! And tug-of-war with my foster siblings? That’s my new favorite game. They’re teaching me all the fun stuff.

I’m a good traveler, too. Cars don't scare me – I just enjoy the ride. And guests? No problem! I’m pretty calm and love a good snuggle, even though I’m a big girl. The best part, though, is being outside. I’ve got this amazing fenced-in yard, and I just love to stretch out in the sun. If the door is open, I’ll even wander out by myself to do my business or just lie in the soft grass.

My foster parents call me affectionate, and I guess I am! I just love my people. It makes me a little sad when they leave, even if my brothers and sisters are still here. I like to follow them around the house, just to be close. I’d be happiest with someone who’s home a lot, I think.

I’m still working on my girlish figure, so food is extra exciting! You have to keep an eye on the counters, or a tasty snack might just disappear. I’m a loyal dog, through and through. And honestly, I think I smile all day. I’ve had puppies before, so I tend to look after the other dogs, like a big, fluffy mom. I don’t bark much, only when it’s really important. Life is good, especially when I have my people and my sunny spot in the yard.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog.
