Bonnie's Story

Bonnie is an 85-lb, 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix who is truly as sweet as they come. Though we don't know much about her past, we do know that Bonnie is a mama dog who craves affection and closeness with her humans. She has so much love to give and is eager to finally experience what it means to be cherished. Bonnie is incredibly affectionate and would make a wonderful family companion. She enjoys human attention and thrives on love and reassurance. While she isn't fully comfortable on a leash just yet, she is learning and should catch on quickly with consistency and patience. Because Bonnie appears to have grown up in a survival-based environment, she is still learning that life can be soft and safe. She is not a good fit for a home with small dogs, as her prey drive is present, but she has so much potential in the right setting. Bonnie is spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped, and ready to start a new chapter with a family who will show her the love she's been missing.
