Bonnie's Story

This beautiful, dainty girl is a survivor. She and her brother Clyde have been on their own for far too long, running stray on the rural highways of northwestern Ohio for several months, growing increasingly emaciated, and too scared to allow anyone to bring them to safety. They both had to be humanely trapped and found a loving, safe foster home with the kind folks who worked so hard to get them safe.

Bonnie and her brother Clyde are doing so well now—they’ve slowly and steadily gained weight, are eating without the desperate voraciousness we first observed, are now up to date on vaccines, negative for heartworm and tick-borne illness, and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventive. Both also have been fixed and microchipped.

They are awesome dogs, good-natured and gentle, who have gotten along well with other dogs, cats, horses, and strangers. They love attention and long walks.

We are wanting to keep Bonnie and Clyde together in an adoptive home. They have been through so much together, play so well together, and thrive together.

A physically fenced yard is required.

Bonnie and Clyde are available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio.
