Bonnie's Story

Bonnie is 5 years old, 60-65 lbs
we pulled Bonnie from a shelter back in 2024. she had terrible demodex at the shelter, a skin condition from compromised immune systems and stress. We have spent the last 2 years trying to get her hair to grow back and after spending thousands of dollars at the Animal Dermatolgy Clinic, and other specialists, they finally determined that the hair on her body will never grown back. she has a very fine fine layer of hair. the hair on her head/face came back a good bit but she will always be the way she is.

But this girl's personality outshines her lack of a good coat. and she is GORGEOUS. she looks like she actually has a bit of great dane in her face but she is only 60 lbs.

from her foster:

Bonnie is a very well behaved young lady. She is excellent with people, dogs (small and large) and cats, even when they run. She knows to stay off the furniture. She loves her meals and her walks and her octopus toy. She will even throw it for herself if she gets bored.

Bonnie is probably a high energy dog but she is so well behaved she seems mid energy. She would love a companion willing to take her places and take long walks or hikes. I really love her but think she would be better matched with a younger family.
