Bonnie's Story

Bonnie came to us as an owner surrender when her mom, a hardworking night-shift nurse, realized she could no longer give Bonnie the time and attention she deserves. Working long 12-hour overnight shifts meant Bonnie was spending too much time kenneled, which made this active little girl unhappy. Wanting the very best for her, her mom made the difficult but loving decision to help Bonnie find a family that could give her the life she deserves.

Bonnie is a social, affectionate girl who absolutely loves going for walks, meeting new people, and spending quality time with her humans. She does well with other dogs overall, though she can be a little protective of her food. Bonnie also isn’t the biggest fan of grooming, but with patience and reassurance she will tolerate it just fine.

Bonnie is full of personality — a sweet and sassy little girl who simply wants to be loved and included as part of the family. She is looking for a home where she can enjoy adventures, companionship, and plenty of cuddle time.
