Bonnie's Story
Bonnie is a little Yorkie Poo who found herself homeless evading the dog control officer for a few weeks. Bonnie is microchipped. The chip came back to a disconnected phone number with a California area code. We went to the registered address, the resident said the owner moved away a long time ago and must’ve left the dog. So...we decided to get her into rescue asap and groomed as she was severely matted and uncomfortable. Bonnie is the sweetest little thing, although very timid until she gets to know you and understand that you are not a threat. She is crate trained and seeks the comfort of her crate when she is uncomfortable. Being such a little girl, she can have potty accidents on occasion, especally if the weather is bad. She enjoys the comfort of other little dogs, but big dogs do make her fearful. She'd make a great companion for an older person or a family without children as she is easily scared.
