I'd especially love a family with hound experience, one that will provide me with opportunities to learn barn hunt or take long sniff walks each day. I am dog selective, so if you have energetic, playful pups, I likely would not like them. However, if you have another laid back hound, I have been known to walk nicely with that type. Please fill out our adoption application if you would like to meet one of these special dogs!<br/>SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.<br/>SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations.
