Bonnie's Story

Meet Bonnie, a little girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Bonnie and her brother started life under a bridge in LA, where they were living with an unhoused person before coming into rescue. Now this sweet, silly girl is safe, happy, and ready to find her furever home.

True to her name (bonnie means “pretty” in Scottish), she’s a total beauty. Her mama was a little pug, and Bonnie got all the best parts: the wrinkly, worried-looking eyebrows, the squishy black mask, and that signature pug sass. Dad was a Staffy/Pittie, so she inherited the athletic legs, too. As for the helicopter ears? Those have a mind of their own.

Don’t let the soulful stare fool you. Bonnie’s living that PUG LIFE. Born a clown, raised on snuggles, she’s goofy, full of personality, and has LOTS of energy. She LUVs to play and LUVs to LUV, so expect zoomies followed by snuggles, then repeat.

What Bonnie brings to the table:
* House trained, potty trained, AND crate trained (at 4 months, thank you very much)
* Great with dogs, kids, and pretty much every human she’s ever met
* Endless energy for playtime, walks, and adventures
* An unlimited supply of LUV. She LUVs to play, and she LUVs to LUV.

What Bonnie is looking for:
* An active family ready to keep up with her (she’s a lot of fun, but she’s also a LOT)
* Someone who’ll laugh at her antics instead of rolling their eyes
* A snuggle buddy for when the zoomies wear off
* A forever partner in crime to share every silly, happy day with

Bonnie would thrive in an active home ready to match her energy and laugh at her antics every single day.

Ready to fall in LUV? Bonnie’s looking for her partner in crime. Could it be you? Fill out an application to start your journey to furever!

All Mutt Luv Rescue pups receive a full health checkup, parasite testing, are fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before adoption.

This helps us get to know you, your personality, lifestyle, and wants with your potential new furbaby. Once you've submitted your application, please allow at least 48 hours for our team to review it. If your application is approved, and we think you’re a good match, one of our dedicated team members will follow-up with you to coordinate a phone interview. If our team agrees you’re a good match, we’ll arrange a meet and greet with the dog you’re applying for and their foster. If all goes well during meet and greet and you would like to move forward, the final step required is a home check and a completed adoption agreement/contract.
