Bonnie's Story

Meet Bonnie, a little bulldog with a big personality and a well earned love for the couch.

Around 5 years old and 40 pounds, Bonnie is a low energy, affectionate girl who is finally getting to enjoy the good life. She was rescued from the euthanasia list at Stanislaus Animal Services with painful skin issues and a lot of healing ahead of her. Today, her skin is clearing, her confidence is growing, and her wonderfully silly personality is coming out.

Bonnie is a total ham. She’s lovable, full of character, and very happy to make herself comfortable beside you. Her future family will be lucky to have her, and we suspect she’ll have them wrapped around her little paw pretty quickly.

She knows basic commands and is doing great with potty training. Bonnie is cat and dog friendly with proper introductions and needs a home without children. Her ideal family will give her patience as she settles in, keep building on her progress, and appreciate a couch potato with plenty of personality.

After everything she’s been through, Bonnie deserves a home where being safe and loved is simply everyday life. We can’t wait for her to find her people. She will be spayed 10/20/26 with adoption apps open 11/1/26.

Contact Pits & Pals K9 Rescue to learn more about adopting Bonnie.
