Upon being rescued by DWB, she saw different vets who diagnosed her with a 4/4 luxating patella on one back knee combined with an additional defect or injury on the same knee. She also has a 2/4 luxating patella on her other back knee. She is currently doing well taking an anti-inflammatory daily however she will need an adopter committed to her lifelong care given her knee condition.

Call us biased, but she's so worth it! Bonita is the best little girl. She is full of love but just needs a lot of patience. She comes everywhere with her foster and is a happy little girl as long as she is coming along. When her foster mom puts down a tote bag, she immediately gets inside because she knows that means she's coming too. She is definitely a velcro dog and follows her literally everywhere around the house. She does not like other dogs though and will try to bite them and bark when they come close.

If you are not ready to adopt just yet and would like to help in other ways, please consider clicking on the green Sponsor Me button above to help this dog receive the best care we can give.
