She absolutely adores being held and will happily melt into your arms, soaking up all the cuddles and attention she can get.<br/><br/>This soft, affectionate girl is the kind of puppy who bonds deeply with her people. She loves being close, enjoys quiet companionship, and brings a peaceful, loving presence wherever she goes.<br/><br/>Bongo is also dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and kid-friendly, making her a wonderful addition to many types of homes. She enjoys the company of other dogs and is always up for a little playtime, but she's just as happy relaxing by your side or enjoying some fresh air outside.<br/><br/>Bongo is crate trained and settles nicely when left alone. She's currently working on potty training and is making great progress with consistency and routine. She responds to "come" and is eager to connect with her people--she may just need a moment to follow the sound of your voice.<br/><br/>Bongo is vision impaired and may have genetic nystagmus (sometimes called "wobbly eyes"). It does not cause her pain and isn't expected to impact her overall health, but she will benefit from a home that keeps her environment consistent. <br/><br/>She does best when her bed, food, and water stay in the same place so she can confidently navigate her surroundings.<br/>Despite her limited vision, Bongo is a happy, adaptable puppy who doesn't let it slow her down. She simply relies on her other senses--and her people--to help guide her.<br/><br/>With a moderate activity level, Bongo would thrive in a home that will:<br/>* Give her lots of love and affection<br/>* Provide consistency and routine<br/>* Continue her training and socialization<br/>* Embrace all the fun (and occasional chaos) of puppyhood<br/><br/>Bongo is truly a special little girl with so much love to give. She's ready to find a family who will cherish her sweet nature and help her grow into a confident, happy companion.<br/><br/>Before adoption, all Boxers and Buddies dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped. All dogs are fostered in a foster home where they are treated like family - practicing socialization skills.<br/><br/>Our adoption process:<br/><br/>Once an application is submitted, our adoption team will contact you within 24 hours. After an interview and home check, a meet and greet will be scheduled.
