She needs prompting to go potty but will go to the back door if she really needs to go. Ideally she would do best with someone who is home all day or part time so she can get out every 3-4 hours. <br/><br/>PREFERS A HOME WITH /WITHOUT<br/>Bonbon's foster home has 2 other dogs (one female EBD with special needs and one female Lab mix). There are also 2 female cats in the home and she isn't at all aggressive or rough with them and they rub up against her. She basically ignores them. She gets along very well with the lab mix and likes to go outside with her. There have been a few altercations between BonBon and the other English Bulldog, who is dominant.<br/><br/>HEALTH<br/>Vaccinations up to date. Bonbon is on Hills Kidney Diet for the remainder of her life. All recent urine tests have been good. <br/><br/>Bonbon was a breeder surrendered to a South Florida Shelter. She is 8 years old. <br/> <br/>Based on observation, Bonbon may have slept on a floor as she didn't know how comfy her bed was until she reached her foster. She likes to sleep in her crate but has a thick comforter for padding. If she occasionally has an accident, it's easier to wash. She should go out before bed and most of the time she is okay through the night. <br/><br/>Bonbon definitely has selective hearing and will respond to you on her terms. I feel an experienced bulldog owner would be best for Bonbon because it takes patience but she eventually comes around. Bonbon is a very easy dog. She has many toys but doesn't know how to play with them nor show interest. Her favorite thing to do is obviously eat. She likes treats and will work for treats. In her foster home, her kidney kibble is also topped with fruit in the morning and a small amount of chicken or beef with veggies in the evening. <br/><br/>I don't believe Bonbon has ever learned to go up and down stairs. Despite attempts to teach her, she avoids the stairs. <br/><br/>She loves to go outside and sits in the sun for short periods before it's too hot. She also enjoys slow walks on the leash in the neighborhood. She's a very easy dog and loves belly rubs. It's obvious she never got the love and attention she has gotten in her foster home because she will always come and lay next to foster moms feet for a massage. She deserves someone to shower her with love and affection for the years she has ahead. One look into her beautiful eyes and you will see what a sweet girl she is!
