Bomi and Ruee

Long term foster with adoption interest needed for Bomi & Ruee. <br/><br/>We haven’t received any interest in this bonded pair. They're mother and son, Bomi was rescued from the dog meat and they were adopted together around 7yrs ago. Ruee was born in a high kill shelter in S Korea. Currently, they’re estimated to be 7 and 8yrs old respectively. Their owner unexpectedly passed and they were rescued from a rural shelter in Beeville, TX. <br/><br/>Their current fosters made a 6 month commitment and it’s almost time for Bomi & Ruee to move on. However, Bomi & Ruee needed time to cope with significant losses, upheaval and time is still needed for their emotional recovery/reaching them skills to cope with stress. Rather than simply send them off to another long term foster, we want the dogs to have a place where they won’t have to go through more upheaval. They are being helped by a positive reinforcement trainer but learning how to trust takes time especially for Ruee. <br/><br/>A secure backyard is required as Bomi & Ruee are unable to handle walks outside on leash. <br/><br/>Bomi & Ruee are good natured dogs. They’re sweet. They’re cute. They would prefer to flee rather than engage in conflict. They’ve both found great comfort in their doggo foster sister Luna. Bomi will follow you room to room, she’ll accept pets. Ruee is usually off in the background observing things but he’s made such great strides in the last month.
