Bolt's Story

Bolt was born February 19, 2020 to his Siberian Husky mom Daisy. Based on looks and personality we think Bolt's dad was a Labrador Retriever. Bolt was adopted out but somehow ended up getting out, making his way to Oklahoma, and finding himself with a good samaritan who kept him safe until we could get him. There's not telling how long he was on the road by himself, but we're so glad he's now safe. We did try and find his original adopters but did not have any luck.

Even though he's been a street dog for a bit, Bolt gets along great with the dogs at his foster home and just wants love and attention. He loves to play, lounge on the bed, and is non-destructive - he's quite the package!

If you're interested in adopting Bolt, fill out an application at https://texashuskyrescue.org/apply-to-adopt/.

You can learn more about Bolt's journey at https://texashuskyrescue.org/2025/10/20/bolt-from-disney-puppy-to-the-incredible-journey/.

12/1/25 2:34 AM
