Boggle's Story

You are probably going to notice Boggle's tongue before you notice anything else. It's LONG. Like, comically long. It's always hanging out, which means Boggle goes through life looking like he's permanently in the middle of giving you a kiss. And considering how much this guy loves affection that's pretty appropriate. Get close to Boggle and there is a very good chance you're getting licked. Most likely repeatedly. It's part of his charm!!

His tongue isn't the only thing that makes Boggle stand out either. He's got these incredibly bright, striking eyes, a perfect curly pug tail, and a face that is just impossible to resist. Apart from his good looks, his personality is even better! He's just SO sweet. At the rescue Boggle tends to hang back a bit. He's timid in a busy environment and is more comfortable watching everything from the sidelines than jumping right into the middle of it. But spend some time with him one-on-one and you get a completely different Boggle.

He wants to play, cuddle, be petted, and most of all he just wants to be next to you. He's gentle and docile with a very sweet nature, and he doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He does well with people, does great with other dogs, and is perfectly happy just hanging out with his person.

Boggle is still figuring out some of the less exciting parts of being a dog. He's getting used to walking on a leash and is learning that loud or unfamiliar noises aren't always something to worry about. We don't know what his life looked like when he was wandering the streets as a stray, so it's understandable that some things are still new to him. What we do know is that he's learning. He's learning that people can be gentle, that he can relax, and that the world doesn't have to be scary. That maybe being someone's dog means getting to spend your days beside them, getting your ears scratched and giving out an unreasonable number of kisses. ;)

And yes, despite the tongue situation, Boggle eats and drinks completely normally. So if you're looking for a dog who is going to be a little bit unusual, very memorable, and extremely sweet, Boggle would like to meet you! Interested in this special boy? Please inquire today!
