Because of this, we are looking for homes that can provide:<br/><br/> A securely fenced yard<br/> An active lifestyle<br/> Previous breed experience or strong breed knowledge<br/> Understanding of the training and mental stimulation German Shepherds require<br/> Knowledge of pet insurance and willingness to insure them, as the breed can be prone to hip/elbow dysplasia and degenerative myelopathy<br/><br/> These applications will be thoroughly vetted, just like all of our dogs. We will not place these dogs into situations that are unlikely to be successful long-term.<br/><br/>Please do your research before applying. German Shepherds are incredible companions, but they are not the right fit for every home.
