Bobbin

Bobbin was rescued from a high-kill shelter and is ready for a new, forever home! <br/><br/>He is an active and sweet 4-year-old, 17-lb. terrier mix, who loves people and other dogs. (We havent tried him with cats yet, but he did try to cuddle up to a cat-owner he met on a walk!) He is currently living with his Hero Rescue foster parents. <br/><br/>Bobbin is house-trained and crate-trained. He is very quiet and does not bark or bite. He loves to go on walks, play at the dog park with new doggie friends, and be outside whenever possible. If youre a kisser, he will kiss right back! One person or a big family with other pets, Bobbin is just looking to give you love (and a little bit of exercise).<br/><br/>Bobbin also loves riding in the car and putting his tongue in the wind! <br/><br/>Bobbin is not all action: he also enjoys napping in his crate, under the bed, or at the top of cushiony furniture. <br/><br/>At night, he is easy-going about where to sleep. If you dont mind, hell cuddle up next to your legs on a blanket on the bed. If you are feeling blue, he will cuddle up and put his arm around you! <br/><br/>Bobbin was recently neutered and given all his shots. His teeth appear to be in great shape, and he was just groomed and shaved close for the summer heat. <br/><br/>Currently, he is undergoing heartworm treatment because his prior person didnt vaccinate him—treatment will continue to be paid, thanks to Hero Rescue, even after he is adopted! (His foster family was happy to learn that the treatment simply dissolves the problem and isnt gross or difficult at all!)<br/><br/>Since he loves the outdoors, he would do best with someone who can take him outside for a short time around four times a day, or who has a backyard and can walk him a couple of times a day. <br/><br/>He doesnt mind short walks—he just wants to smell the local news, sniff for squirrels, meet up with other dogs, and listen to outside noises. His foster parents crack open the window next to his napping spot, so he can keep up with outside goings-on while in the apartment. <br/><br/>Please contact Hero Rescue to meet Bobbin! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. <br/><br/>Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. <br/><br/>Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog.
