Bob's Story

Meet Bob!

1 year old 45 lbs

Bobs story began when he was found tied outside Aurora Animal Control, but you would never guess it from his happy, loving personality. This handsome boy has left his past behind and greets every day with a wagging tail, a goofy grin, and excitement for whatever adventure comes next.

Bob is a social butterfly who loves meeting new people and soaking up attention. If youre looking for a dog who is genuinely thrilled to see you every time you walk through the door, Bob is your guy. Belly rubs? Yes, please!

Hes making great progress with his house training and does his best to let you know when he needs to go outside. At night, Bob settles nicely in his crate. If he knows youre nearby in the morning, hell happily let you know hes ready to start the day with you.

Bob is an energetic, playful pup who loves making canine friends. His excitement can sometimes be a little over-the-top during introductions, but he responds well to corrections and simply wants someone to play with. Hes done wonderfully learning to respect the older dogs in his foster home when theyve let him know playtime is over, and he could do very well with another playful dog thats a good match for his energy.

When hes not playing, Bob enjoys relaxing with a Benebone or other favorite chew toy. Hes also been a champ during bath time and has the most adorable ears that are guaranteed to make you smile.

Because hes still a young, active dog, Bob would be happiest with an active family or dog-savvy children who can keep up with his fun-loving personality. His compatibility with cats is currently unknown.

Bob has so much love to give and is ready for the fresh start he deserves. If youre looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will fill your home with laughter, kisses, and endless tail wags, Bob is ready to meet you!

Interested in adopting? Submit an adoption application on our website rescuedrascalsil.org!

We will review your application at our earliest convenience. If your application is selected, we will contact you for a phone interview. From there, wed schedule a meet and greet with the dog to make sure it is a great fit for adoption for the whole family and any other dogs in your home.

Questions about adoption?
