Bob's Story

My name is Bob! I am 80 lbs and a settled in adult at 4.5 years old. I am in need of a new home. I am a stunning Shepherd/Carolina dog mix. My person loves me so much but due to some unexpected life changes, I can no longer stay where I am. I am a fantastic companion. I am housebroken, free roaming and well-behaved in my home. I love my people and I love kids. I have lived with school-aged kids for most of my life and have interacted with young kids many times too. I really enjoy them. I am good with dogs but most of my experience lies with the small and medium dogs. I haven't had much experience playing/socializing with large dogs but have no reaction to them on leash and when out and about. I could easily live as an only in my home or with a nice companion. I don't really enjoy little dogs when they are jumpy, overactive and constantly in my face (who really does right?). I walk well on leash, enjoy the beach and strolling in my neighborhood. I still need my exercise and stimulation but I am medium energy now at this age. I can totally lounge. We are unsure about the cats. I am located in NJ and would love to meet you.
