Bob's Story

Meet Bolken or as his friends call him, Bob!

1 year
45 lbs

Bolkens story started when he was found tied up outside Aurora Animal Control, but this handsome boy hasnt let that dim his spirit one bit. Bob is incredibly friendly, outgoing, and absolutely loves meeting new people hes the kind of dog whose tail wags with his whole body.

Hes still working on his potty training, but he tries his best to let you know when he needs to go out. He does well in his crate overnight and settles nicely, though if he hears you nearby, he will bark to remind you hes ready for company.

Bob is all about making friends sometimes too much! His enthusiasm can come on strong with other dogs, but he takes corrections well and just wants to play. He could thrive with another dog as long as its the right match for his upbeat, playful style. Although, there are a couple older dogs in his foster home and hes done a great job respecting that they dont want to play with him.

This sweet boy loves a good benebone or chew, behaved for bath time, and has the cutest ears ever! With his higher energy level, he may do best with dog-savvy kids or active adopters; cats remain an unknown.

And the best part? Bob greets every day with joy. Hell always be thrilled to see you and happily flop over for belly rubs anytime you offer.

Bolken is ready to leave his past behind and start fresh with a family who will love him as much as hell love them. Could that be you?

Interested in adopting? Submit an adoption application on our website rescuedrascalsil.org!

We will review your application at our earliest convenience.
