I dont know exactly how I ended up alone.<br/><br/>I just know that one day I was hurt, scared, and lying on the side of the road after being hit by a car.<br/><br/>The accident took one of my legs so I am a recent tripod.<br/><br/>But it didn't take my kindness.<br/><br/>It didn't take my gentle heart.<br/><br/>It didn't take my ability to love.<br/><br/>Today I'm only about a year old. I'm 61 pounds, heartworm negative, neutered, and friendly with other dogs. I may even be mostly potty trained.<br/><br/>What breaks my heart isn't having three legs.<br/><br/>Its wondering if that's all people will see.<br/><br/>Will they see the missing leg and keep scrolling?<br/><br/>Will they assume I'm broken?<br/><br/>Will they see the sweet, happy puppy whose tail still wags with attention, who still wants a family, who still believes someone out there might choose him?<br/><br/>Maybe my story doesn't end on the side of a road.<br/><br/>Maybe it ends on a couch, with a family who sees me exactly as I am and says, You're perfect. <br/><br/>Rescue Coop saves pups from high kill shelters or extreme neglect situations and transports them nationwide to approved adopters.
