Bo Duke's Story
Sweet 13-year-old Bo Duke came to Frosted Faces with his brother Luke after their dad unexpectedly passed away. He found them abandoned on the side of a road as tiny puppies, and they were his beloved family members for 13 years. After his passing, his extended family faced the heartbreaking realization that no one was in a position to take Bo and Luke.

After spending more than a month at FFF, Bo and Luke went into separate foster homes to see how they would do without the other, and they did amazingly well. Luke has since been adopted by his foster family, and now it's Bo's turn to find his forever home! Could it be with you?

Bo's foster mom shares:

"Sweet Bo is without a doubt the easiest foster I've ever had! You can tell he was so loved in his previous home. Bo loves to be around people but isn't needy. If someone is on the couch or bed he'll hop up with them but if left by himself he'll patiently await our return. He enjoys being brushed and loves his face being pet.

Bo is fully potty-trained (not one accident!) and able to be left alone for up to 9.5 hours. He sleeps through the night, happy to either be in bed with you, on a dog bed, or on the floor.

Bo knows his name and is a great listener. In the mornings if I'm feeling lazy I let him out into our backyard without a leash, and he stays within eyesight and comes back if I call him. As long as introduced properly, Bo is sweet with other dogs and appears to enjoy living with my other foster.

When I picked up Bo he was described to me as struggling at FFF due to being overwhelmed, and having a hard time eating due to stress. But when Bo is in a home, he's a completely different guy!! He eats all his meals and doesn't show any anxiety. He doesn't even bark!! The only time you hear him bark are these cute happy barks he does when I get home from work or if he's really excited for a walk.

So who's going to be the lucky person to take this guy home!? If you want a calm, loving, low- maintenance buddy, Bo is your guy! He deserves to live out the rest of his years being able to rest in a loving home."

To meet Bo Duke, please email:
placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
