Bo's Story

Meet Bo: Bo is a 1 and a 1/2 year old (as of April 2026) Catahoula/Pit mix that weighs 86 pounds. Bo was originally rescued from another organization, but due to unexpected personal circumstances his current owner has no choice but to rehome him and the original shelter said if they took him back he would end up on the euthanasia list. Our rescue stepped in to make sure this handsome boy could avoid that fate and find the right home for him to thrive for a long and happy life! Bo is currently being fostered in the south and would love to catch the next freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Bo absolutely adores people — from kids to adults! Bo is a big, happy, high-energy boy who just needs the right home — a secure setup and someone willing to give him the structure and the love he deserves. Bo has a history of jumping the fence in his old house, his new home would need a tall fence and someone willing to work with him to know his boundaries to stay in the yard. Bo has been friendly with other dogs he's met - he does have a strong prey drive, so he would not do well in a home with small pets/cats. Bo is already house trained! Bo is up to date on his shots and neutered. Bo is ready for his forever family - could it be you?! If you think he could be your new playmate and love bug, please go to Charlie's Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application.

CURRENT LOCATION: Mississippi, awaiting transport to PA
