Meet Bo, a handsome 1-year-old pitbull mix who is ready to find his forever home!<br/><br/>Bo recently found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own, and while he’s being a brave boy, he’s dreaming of a soft bed and a family to call his own. At 37 pounds, he is the ultimate "portable" pittie—sturdy enough for a long hike, but compact enough to fit perfectly on the couch next to you.<br/><br/>Why You’ll Love Bo:<br/>The Perfect Age: At a year old, Bo has left the tiny puppy "land shark" phase behind but still has plenty of youthful energy and a lifetime of love to give.<br/><br/>Ideal Size: He’s a "low-rider" who is easy to manage on a leash and fits comfortably in most cars for weekend trips.<br/><br/>Southern Charm: Bo is a true North Carolina gentleman. He has a sweet, resilient spirit and a tail that never stops wagging when he sees a friendly face.<br/><br/>Eager to Please: He is at the prime age for training! Bo is smart, food-motivated, and ready to learn all the tricks that will make him the "bestest boy" on the block.<br/><br/>Bo’s Wishlist:<br/>Bo is looking for a home where he can get daily walks, some sturdy chew toys, and lots of belly rubs. Whether you’re an active hiker or a fan of backyard playtime, Bo just wants to be wherever you are.<br/><br/>Shelter Note: Bo is currently settling into the shelter environment. He would love a foster or an adopter who can give him a little time to decompress and show his true, goofy personality.<br/><br/> Bo is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and waiting for you.
