Bluey's Story

Bluey is one handsome guy and full of excitement and personality. He is always ready to make new friends and turn any moment into playtime. Whether he's romping around with his dog pals, tossing toys around, or soaking up attention from everyone he meets, Bluey brings joy wherever he goes.

Bluey is incredibly smart, food motivated, and eager to learn, which makes training both fun and rewarding. He's already doing great with house training and has made huge progress with crate training. He's a quick learner who responds well to guidance and correction from other dogs, showing just how adaptable and social he is. While he enjoys human attention, Bluey truly thrives with animal companions and would absolutely love a playful dog sibling to wrestle and zoom around with!

In his foster home, Bluey has done wonderfully with both small dogs and dogs his size. He especially loves bigger dogs who can match his playful energy! He also met a toddler and handled the interaction very well - curious and mostly content to do his own thing. Bluey hasn't met cats yet, but with his social and eager-to-please nature, he has so much potential to continue blossoming in the right home.

Quick stats!
--Dogs: gets along great with dogs
--Cats: has not been introduced to cats
--Children: has done well with children
--Likes: rolling around with his foster siblings, adventuring, and playing with his toys

If Bluey sounds like the right fit for your home, fill out an adoption application today! muttsofthemidway.org/adopt

Mutts of the Midway's Adoption Policy
Thank you for choosing to adopt and your interest in Mutts of the Midway. Once there is an interest in a dog, our adoption application is completed with that dog noted. The application is vetted and two personal references and one veterinarian reference are checked. If approved, a meet and greet is set-up with all family members (including children and other dogs) and the adoptable dog. If the adopter and foster family agree it is a good fit, the adoption contract is completed and the adoption fee ($350 for a dog 6 months and younger, $300 for a dog older than 6 months) is paid. Finally the pick-up of the new family member is arranged! All applications are processed in the order they are received and we strive to find the best home for each of our dogs. All adopted animals will go into their forever home current on vaccines, microchipped, spay/neutered, heartworm preventative and given a health exam.
