Bluey's Story

Bluey is a 2-year-old Blue Heeler mix who was clearly someone's beloved companion before finding himself on his own. While we don't know what happened, we do know that he's an incredibly sweet dog who deserves a second chance. Bluey is easy to walk, enjoys other dogs, and has done well with kids in our presence. As an abandoned dog, it's hard to know exactly how much house training he has, but he keeps his kennel clean and appears to have lived in a home before.

Sweet and affectionate personality
Dog-friendly
Good with kids in our shelter
Cats unknown
Walks nicely on a leash
Appears to be at least partially house trained
Compact, full-grown size at just 32 pounds
Smart, loyal, and eager to bond
Ready for a fresh start with a family of his own
