Bluey

It’s a face only a mother could love — and love him we do. Meet Bluey, an 8 lb ShihTzu/Maltese mix who is about one year old. As you can see, this poor buddy came to us in atrocious condition. His owner kept him crated in a garage where he received minimal care and interaction. Due to the neglect during his entire first year of life, Bluey is behind on learning how to “dog.” He is incredibly sweet and affectionate but needs the same training and patience a young puppy would require. Housetraining is a brand new concept for this little guy but he wants to learn. He will also need to learn how to walk on a leash but that should come easily. Bluey is wonderful with other dogs and he would do fine with older children. This fella is going to be a diamond in the rough for the person who will put in the effort to polish him up until he shines. <br/><br/>Bluey is fully vetted -- neutered/spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations and deworming.
