When Blueberry first came to us, she had every reason to give up. She’d been found tied to a tree, standing in three inches of water—skinny, exhausted, and alone. But even then, her tail never stopped wagging. <br/><br/>Soon after arriving in our rescue, we learned Blueberry was heartworm positive and her case was a tough one. But this brave girl never let it break her spirit. She stayed strong throughout her difficult heartworm treatment and now she’s finally ready for her forever home!<br/><br/>Blueberry is the definition of “happy-go-lucky.” She’s always up for anything—walks, playtime, car rides, or just cuddling up at the end of the day. She’ll be ready to greet you with a goofy grin and major wiggle butt when you come home from a long day of work or school! She’s fantastic with kids of all ages, loves other dogs, and gets along with cats.
