Velvety Blue is a big lug of a sweetheart!<br/><br/>Blue is 4 years old. He is proud to show his repertoire of cued behaviors; sit, paw, gimme ten. <br/><br/>The thing is, when Blue here exits his kennel run, he has a less than ideal way of greeting folks. His BIG enthusiastic hellloooo needs help. Like SOS this is not ok, buddy. We want to meet you but not that much of you! But that's ok, Blue comes with a Handsome Dan's Rescue Take My Lead grant for up to $500 in FREE private training once adopted. And we will also be working with him to quell his... well... find a better way for him to take a chill pill prior to saying hello. As a trainer, I also believe that much of this has a good chance of subsiding once he is out of the shelter and more relaxed in a home. I'm really not worried.<br/><br/>Sooooo, during his assessment, after he ran about three laps of the play yard he returned to me, flopped down, and made his belly available for rubs! <br/><br/>Blue is a great guy. He has been bumped around a bit, nothing horrible, just not quite settled. He is hoping that his next home is his forever home.'<br/><br/>Blue lived with a dog in the past.
