Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate.†̄Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.†̄<br/>Other:†̄†̄ Intact Female, Vaccinations current, Microchip<br/><br/>Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption:<br/>8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption.<br/>12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.<br/>16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.<br/>6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery. **<br/>Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations.<br/>**Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice.<br/><br/>**<br/>Blue Ribbon has an umbilical hernia. If it is present at the time of the spay it will need to be repaired at the adopters expense.
