***REHOMING***<br/><br/>We are helping to rehome Blue that came from our shelter 2 years ago.<br/>Blue is now 3 1/2 years old, approximately 75 solid pounds.<br/><br/>We are accepting the applications on Blue & forwarding them to his current family so they can pick the correct home for Blue since they know him best.<br/><br/>** WEIMARANER EXPERIENCE ONLY !!<br/><br/>You see Blue can be protective of his family and the fence line. <br/>He has come to take his job seriously.<br/>For this reason we are requesting no children under 12 years old.<br/>He adores his family but needs help not taking his job so seriously. <br/><br/>Blue is a smart dog that listens well. <br/>He will sit and lay down on command. <br/>He takes treats gently. <br/>Blue will sit and wait until you tell him to release to eat his food. <br/>Blue loves to go on long walks or jogs and especially loves to play fetch. <br/>He is house broken and crate trained!!<br/><br/>He sleeps in a crate overnight because he does like to eat socks, paper towels & tissues if he finds them so this is what's best & safest for him at night.<br/><br/>Blue loves to chew on antlers and other chew toys. <br/>He will, however eat plastic or rubber chew toys if he can rip them apart, so antlers are best. He does stay busy with those or hard, durable chew toys<br/><br/>Blue doesn't bark much unless he hears a loud noise or someone comes to the door. <br/>He does well with a beep collar to redirect his attention. <br/>His collar will be included with him. <br/>Blue is microchipped too.<br/>He currently has a large fenced yard.<br/><br/>Home check & rehoming fee applies to ensure a good match.<br/><br/>***AGAIN, we will be accepting applications online & forwarding them to his family.<br/>He is not at the shelter, he's with his family until we can find a good match.<br/><br/>He's a gorgeous boi, PLEASE don't apply based on his beautiful face & his gorgeous silver coat...we're looking for a Weimaraner lover with experience.<br/><br/>If you would be so kind to share Blue, we'd appreciate it!<br/><br/>To apply online please go to www.amherstanimalshelter.org/adopt
