Given his past, it’s completely understandable that he may need extra time to settle into a new home and learn to trust the people around him. He may be slow to warm up, but with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he has the potential to form incredibly meaningful bonds. As with any new 4-legged family member, we recommend giving Blue the space and time he needs to decompress and adjust to his surroundings. A calm, predictable environment will help him feel safe and supported as he learns a new routine.
