Hi, I’m Blossom! I’m a 10-week-old Shepherd mix and weigh just 7 lbs. While I definitely have some Shepherd in me, there’s clearly something smaller hiding in my DNA too! I’m a typical happy puppy who loves to play, explore and soak up attention. I’m sweet, curious and full of puppy energy, and I’m always ready to see what kind of fun I can find next!<br/><br/>Since I’m still just a baby, I’ll need to learn all the usual puppy things like house training, crate training, leash walking and basic manners. I’m looking for a patient family who is ready to teach me, give me lots of love and help me grow into the best girl I can be.<br/><br/>I’ll come fully vetted for my age; spayed, up to date on vaccines and preventatives and already microchipped. Our Adoption Process Our goal is to make the adoption process as smooth as possible while making sure each animal is matched with the right home 1. Submit an Application Complete our adoption application using the link at the bottom of each animal’s bio. Our team will review your application and if approved, someone from the rescue will reach out. PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT AN INQUIRY ON PETFINDER 2. Home Video Once approved, we will ask you to submit a video walkthrough of your home and yard in lieu of an in-person home visit 3. Animals Already in Foster If the animal is currently in a foster home, the foster parent will contact you to answer questions, tell you more about the animal and arrange a meet and greet. Please bring a leash to the meet and greet. If everything goes well and you feel it is the right match, you may complete the adoption and take your new family member home that day 4. Direct Adoptions From Transport Some of our animals travel to Michigan specifically for direct adoption rather than going into a foster home. Because these animals are coming on transport specifically to meet their approved adopter, a direct adoption must be a firm commitment. Please ask any questions and make sure you are comfortable moving forward before committing to a transport animal 5. Finalizing the Adoption To complete the adoption, you will sign our adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Once complete, your new family member is officially yours and can head home with you
