Blossom's Story
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO BEFORE APPLYING TO ADOPT BLOSSOM.
Blossom is a 5-year-old Shih Tzu weighing about 11 pounds. She is a puppy mill survivor, and that comes with its share of challenges.
Blossom enjoys the attention of adults and will choose a favorite human to share her love with. She has a sweet and funny personality. Her entire body wags when she is happy, which is most of the time. Blossom enjoys playing with dog toys by herself, wrestling with other small dogs and going for rides. She saw her first cat in her foster home and decided it was something to bark at.
If I needed to describe Blossom in just one word, it would be Joy. Joy for freedom. Joy for life. Joy for the chance to play, to eat good food, to ride in a car. Joy to learn that humans can be kind, gentle and loving.
THESE ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR BLOSSOMS FOREVER HOME:
1. Blossom will need another small dog in her forever home to play with and learn from.
2. She MUST have a securely fenced yard to run and play in.
3. She requires a calm, quiet forever home with only adults or older children in her life.
4. Her adopter must be willing to work patiently with her to earn her love and respect.
5. She will need work on house training with scheduled consistency and gentleness.
6. Positive reinforcement will be necessary to help Blossom learn how good life really is. Please believe me when I say she is worth every second of your time.
If you have any questions about Blossom please contact her foster mom Lois at cnlklapp@verizon.net .
