Blondie's Story

Arriving from New Mexico 7/8. Will you foster or adopt??

Meet Blondie

Some dogs make a big first impression with endless energy and goofy antics. Blondie wins hearts a different way. With her soulful eyes, gentle smile, and sweet, easygoing personality, she has a quiet way of making people fall in love.

This beautiful 1-year-old cattle dog mix weighs 34 pounds, making her the perfect medium-sized companion for adventures, couch cuddles, and everything in between. Blondie previously had a home, but through no fault of her own, her owner could no longer care for her. Now she finds herself in a busy shelter, waiting and hoping for another chance at the life she once knew.

The truth is, Blondie belongs in a home.

She belongs on a cozy dog bed, not listening to clanging kennel doors. She belongs beside her people, not surrounded by the constant barking of shelter life. She belongs enjoying life's simple pleasures—afternoon naps, leisurely walks, belly rubs, and the comfort of knowing she's loved.

Blondie is wonderful with both kids and other dogs and would especially enjoy a home with canine companions. She takes comfort in having dog friends around and would love a family where she can share her days with both humans and furry siblings. Her gentle, dainty nature makes her an easy dog to love and an easy dog to live with.

Low energy and well-mannered, Blondie is perfectly content spending time with her people and soaking up affection. She knows some basic obedience, has lovely leash manners, and carries herself with a calm confidence that makes her a favorite among those who meet her.

With her warm brown eyes and sweet expression, Blondie seems to be asking for only one thing: a place to belong again.

She doesn't need anything fancy. Just a safe home, a soft place to rest, a few dog friends, and a family who will cherish her as much as she'll cherish them.

Blondie has already known what it's like to have a home. Now she's hoping someone will help her find that feeling again.

Sweet, gentle, and full of love, Blondie is ready to leave shelter life behind and become someone's best friend once more.

Apply to foster or adopt Blondie at www.denkaisanctuary.org
