Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $700
Meet Blitz!

Blitz is an 11–12 week old Husky mix puppy rescued from the shelter, and he is already turning heads with his striking heterochromatic eyes and winning everyone over with his incredible personality. Equal parts confident adventurer and devoted snuggle buddy, Blitz manages to be both playful and impressively chill for a puppy his age.

Daily Routine & Life at Home
Blitz is an active growing pup and eats several small meals throughout the day. He gets a generous â...“ cup of kibble at breakfast around 8:00 a.m., lunch around 12:30 p.m., and dinner around 5:30 p.m., with a small evening booster around 8:30 p.m. if he’s had an especially busy day. Mealtime is his absolute favorite event. He sits patiently next to his slow-feed bowl, though “patient” is relative— his food motivation is intense. His foster family has learned that filling the bowl must happen on the counter, because if food is poured while it’s on the floor, Blitz will enthusiastically attack the measuring cup in an attempt to speed things along!

His days start around 7:00 a.m., when the teenagers in the house wake up. Blitz heads out to the yard to potty, then follows the kids around, attempting to steal shoes and untie shoelaces once they’re on. Morning play includes chasing foster dad around the yard or going after a flirt pole. After breakfast, Blitz settles into his workday routine, hanging out with foster mom while she works from home. He plays with toys, requests lap time, naps on her feet under the desk, or curls up in his special “co-pilot chair” with a blanket, chew bone, and soft toy. He’s a frequent guest in work video meetings, happily saying hello to everyone on screen.

Lunch brings another slow-feed bowl experience, followed by more supervised outside time and gentle reminders about pottying. The afternoon is a mix of napping, chewing, and mischief— sometimes chewing on foster mom’s feet or attempting tug-of-war with the curtains— balanced with appropriate toys, the occasional ice cube, and more potty breaks. When the rest of the family gets home in the early evening, it’s instant party time. Dinner is followed by play, cuddling, and snoozing on any available lap. Bedtime includes one last potty trip, then into his kennel with his foster sisters nearby. With a good nylabone, Blitz settles in and sleeps through the night, patiently waiting in the morning to be let out.

Personality
Blitz has been his confident, happy self since the moment he arrived. He took a day or two to adjust to the resident husky’s dramatic vocalizations, then promptly began talking back. Their sassy conversations are now a daily highlight. Blitz is affectionate, curious, and deeply people-oriented. He’s a snuggler who seeks out closeness once his adventures are done, often curling up on feet, laps, or anywhere near his people.

He is a velcro dog in a healthy, balanced way— he likes to know what’s happening but can relax independently. When the family leaves early in the morning, Blitz is content hanging out with the other dogs until his foster mom gets up. He’s not destructive and generally makes good choices for a puppy his age.

Blitz is also remarkably chill. He plays hard, then sleeps hard, and responds well to gentle redirection. A simple “uh-uh” is usually enough to correct him. The main exception is teething. Blitz is a tiny shark with razor-sharp teeth, and while he doesn’t respond to yelping, he does respond to calm correction, redirection, and consistent management. Because of his sharp puppy teeth, he may be better suited to a home without very young children who might struggle with this phase.

Energy & Play Style
Blitz follows a pleasant rhythm of play followed by rest. He enjoys interactive play and can also entertain himself with toys. His version of zoomies is more of a leisurely jog around the living room. When the family settles in to watch TV, Blitz is right there, ready to snuggle on the couch.

Dogs & Social Skills
Blitz lives with a 45 lb husky and a 25 lb terrier and adores them. He desperately wants them to play and tries often, but he respects their boundaries when corrected. Not long after, all three are usually found asleep together in a big puppy pile. He has not shown fear or aggression with other dogs and takes corrections appropriately.

Ideal Home
Blitz would love a home with another playful dog, though it’s not a requirement. More than anything, he wants people who will include him as part of the family. He enjoys being involved in daily life and has the potential to be an excellent go-everywhere companion once he’s a bit older and leash trained.

Why Blitz?
Blitz is about as close to a dream puppy as it gets. He’s sweet, affectionate, confident, adaptable, and unusually relaxed for his age. With time, training, and patience—especially around potty training and teething—he’s going to grow into an exceptional dog. His favorite thing in the world is curling up on your feet or politely asking for “uppies” by resting his paws on your knee. If you’re looking for a loving puppy with a stellar temperament and a huge heart, Blitz is ready to steal yours.
