Blitz

Say hello to Blitz! This Shepherd mix is about 2 years old and came to us at the end of December of 2025. He was a stray at the time and this spring, he spent a month in a home and came back to us due to incompatibility in their house. In that time, we learned more about him so we are more equipped to find him the right forever home. He is a medium-to-high energy, sweet, and loving dog ready to meet his new paw-rent(s)!<br/><br/>In the previous owner’s care, he did great with being crated, grooming such as brushing, and he has a great response to clicker training. They had him around other dogs, in busy stores, near loud vehicles, and children, and he did well with all of it. He’s a confident dog and he’s incredibly gentle with people, too. He likes to play tug, sometimes fetch, and he loves going on adventures with his humans. He has good leash manners on a collar or a harness. Blitz likes to play rough with other dogs so he will do best with dogs his size as he doesn’t always know how big he is. He can be a vocal player, as well, so any canine companions he is with will need to be tolerant of that. Since coming back into our care, we have noticed slight barrier reactivity with other dogs that we did not observe from him before.<br/><br/>He has been vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He can be with dogs, but we will require a meet and greet prior to adoption if you have any other dogs in the home and we recommend having him with dogs around his size.
