My priority is finding him a safe, stable, and loving home as soon as possible.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Bleu came into my care about two years ago when a former friend was unable to keep him and never returned for him. Since then, I’ve made sure he has been safe and cared for, but I am no longer able to meet his needs long-term.<br/><br/><br/><br/>About Bleu:<br/><br/>• Great with children, dogs, and cats<br/><br/>• Loves all people—very friendly and social<br/><br/>• Playful, affectionate, and full of love<br/><br/>• Enjoys trail walks and being outdoors<br/><br/>• Would thrive in a quieter setting<br/><br/>• Needs a home with a large yard where he can run and play<br/><br/><br/><br/>Bleu is a wonderful dog who truly deserves a home where he can get consistent attention, exercise, and companionship. This is not an easy decision, but it’s what’s best for him.<br/><br/><br/><br/>-Pros/Cons:<br/><br/><br/><br/>Bleu’s Pros 🐾<br/><br/>• Extremely sweet, loving, and affectionate<br/><br/>• Loves to cuddle and be close to his people<br/><br/>• Playful and fun, but can also be very gentle<br/><br/>• Great with children, cats, and other dogs<br/><br/>• Very friendly—loves meeting new people<br/><br/>• Has never shown any aggression or bitten anyone<br/><br/>• Enjoys trail walks and outdoor time<br/><br/>• Settles nicely on leash after initial excitement<br/><br/><br/><br/>Things to Consider ⚠️<br/><br/>• May have occasional accidents indoors if not taken out regularly<br/><br/>• Does not do well in a crate and prefers more freedom<br/><br/>• Can pull on the leash at the beginning of walks (improves once he calms down)<br/><br/>• Will get into trash if it’s not secured/put away<br/><br/>• Loves to chew—does best when provided with plenty of durable chew toys<br/><br/>• Would do best in a quieter home environment<br/><br/>• Needs a yard and consistent exercise to stay happy and balanced<br/><br/><br/><br/>-Ideal home: Bleu would thrive in a single-family home with a decent-sized, secure yard where he has space to run and play. He does best in a quieter environment away from busy roads, loud noises, heavy traffic, or construction areas, as those things can sometimes spook him.<br/><br/><br/><br/>He would be happiest with an outdoorsy individual or family who enjoys walks, fresh air, and spending time outside, and who can give him the consistent attention, exercise, and companionship he needs.
