Blessing (bonded with Nina)'s Story
Blessing male 5 1/2yo 5lb Chi & Nina female 8 1/2yo 14lb Chiweenie. They are dog, cat and kid’s 10+ friendly. They both need work on being housebroken, but are pee pad trained. They are used to a secure fenced in yard. They are both very affectionate, cuddly, likes to be with their people to get tons of pets and snuggles. They enjoy being outside, running around the yard and sun bathing.

Blessing & Nina’s foster requires them to be adopted together (they have never been apart), where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, a secure fenced in yard, people who will give them the love and attention they are used to along with allowing them on the furniture to relax and cuddle with their people. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.

Blessing & Nina as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first.

Blessing still needs to gain some weight and Nina still needs to lose some weight. Nina has Microphthalmia (sunken, small eye linked to genetics, congenital. No treatment needed)

Blessing & Nina are neutered and spayed, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Wilmington, DE. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org
