Meet Blaze, better known around the shelter as “Black Eye Blaze,” a handsome 5-month-old fawn and white Pit Mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. Blaze has been with us since he was just 6 weeks old, and while he has watched all of his siblings find their forever homes, he is still patiently waiting for his turn. We know the perfect family is out there for this special boy.<br/><br/>Blaze is neutered, up to date on all his shots, and growing into a strong, energetic young dog. He absolutely loves toys, tug-of-war, and any kind of playtime you can offer him. If you have energy to spare, Blaze will happily match it! After he burns off some of that puppy energy, he also enjoys snuggling up and soaking in affection from his people.<br/><br/>Blaze does have some food aggression around other animals, so feeding separately and continued training will be important for him. We believe he would do best with another dog around his age or size that can match his playful personality. He is still young and eager to learn, so a patient family willing to continue his training and provide structure will help him thrive.<br/><br/>One thing Blaze is already doing great with is going outside to use the restroom — he just needs a steady routine to keep him on track.
