****We are Pets Are Worth Saving (P.A.W.S) – Stephenville, TX - We are a small, foster based animal rescue, 501(c)3 non-profit organization, based out of Stephenville, TX. We work to rehabilitate and rehome unwanted cats and dogs in Stephenville and surrounding towns. We have recently expanded our scope to include Hamilton County, TX and are currently working with the City of Hamilton and the Hico Police Department to find loving foster and permanent homes for dogs that have been abandoned and have ended up in the Hamilton Pound or the Hico Animal Shelter. <br/> Pets Are Worth Saving (P.A.W.S.)’s mission is to sponsor low cost spay/neuter and wellness exams, provide community education and provide food and supplies to those in need. We also do our best to find loving homes for abandoned, neglected, or abused animals. Our animals are vaccinated and on preventatives. Location: Hamilton Animal Shelter<br/><br/>If there’s one thing Blanche knows, it’s how to make an entrance! This 2.5-year-old Border Collie mix was left behind when her family moved, but she hasn't let that dampen her flirtatious and fun-loving spirit. She’s the final member of our "Golden Girls" trio, and she’s ready to find her forever lanai.<br/><br/>The Famous "Blanche Crawl"<br/>Blanche has a signature move that will make you laugh every single day. Being a smart Border Collie mix, she loves to "sneak up" on her favorite people by crawling toward them on her belly! It’s her way of saying, "I’m coming for those pets and I’m doing it with style."<br/><br/>Why Blanche is a Total Catch:<br/>The Socialite: Just like her namesake, Blanche loves company! She is incredibly friendly with people and gets along great with other dogs.<br/><br/>Leash Savvy (With a Twist): She is excellent on a leash, though she does have one "flaw"—she occasionally insists on stopping for a mandatory hug break.<br/><br/>Ready for School: She is a smart girl who would excel in training (especially if treats are involved!). She’s already house-trained and ready to learn more.<br/><br/>Low Impact, High Love: She hasn’t been getting quite enough exercise lately, so she’s ready for a family that will get her back into her "fit and fabulous" routine.<br/><br/>Health Essentials:<br/>Age: 2.5 years old<br/><br/>Weight: ~50 lbs<br/><br/>Medical: Spayed, heartworm negative, and fully up-to-date on all vaccines (Rabies, Bordetella, etc.). She’s de-wormed and current on all preventatives.<br/><br/>Blanche is a loyal, quirky, and affectionate soul who just wants to be part of a family again.
