This handsome 18-month-old Goldendoodle mix is the perfect combination of playful puppy, sweet companion, and goofy doodle charm!<br/><br/>Blakely found himself in rescue after his owner moved into an apartment and out of the country. He grew up in a home with five other dogs and regularly played with the neighbor's dogs, so he has certainly had plenty of experience being around canine friends. Since coming into rescue, however, we've learned that his relationship with other dogs is a little more complicated than we initially expected.<br/><br/>Blakely can coexist peacefully with other dogs and is often completely neutral with them in the yard. However, if another dog gets right in his face, he can become a little snappy. We're continuing to work with him and learn more about his comfort level and communication with other dogs, so we're not quite ready to say whether he would successfully live with another dog long-term. We want to be upfront about what we're seeing while giving this sweet boy the time and guidance he needs to figure it out.<br/><br/>Aside from that, Blakely is a very well-mannered young boy with that typical puppy personality we all love! He loves to play, walks beautifully on a leash, and is overall just a very sweet guy. He's also wonderful with kids of all sizes, making him a fun and loving companion for a family with children. <br/><br/>Blakely has so much going for him and is still just a baby at heart. With the right family, continued guidance, and plenty of love, we think this handsome doodle boy has all the makings of an incredible companion. He's ready to put the uncertainty of his past behind him and start the next chapter of his life with a family who will love him for all that he is. <br/><br/>As with all of our adoptable dogs, Blakely will go home with a collar, leash, toy, and two bowls, along with his current food. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and medical care. His adoption fee is $600, which is tax-deductible and helps us continue rescuing dogs in need. <br/><br/>Blakely is ready to doodle his way into his forever home!
