Blaire

Blaire is a tiny Frenchie who loves to play. She's not totally bought in for snuggling, quite yet, but she shows her affection for humans or other dogs by sitting on them. No really, if she likes you, she'll sit against you or on your feet. She isn't really a fan of being picked up or held, but with time and patience, she will come around to taking a nap with you. She's always ready to play fetch or wrestle a squeaky toy and will definitely make it known when you're supposed to play with her! Blaire does best when paired with male dogs in her home, and can get a bet defensive with females. Outside the home, she is happy to play with whoever is interested! She's also great with cats, and has been play bowing at the kitty in her foster home, trying to convine him to wrestle with her. Blaire also is patient and calm for grooming and bathtime. Because she's such a little nugget, her foster family has been bathing her in their kitchen sink, and she's just the best girl during this time. Blaire would do best in a home with kids 10+ since she likes to jump at any human or animal that gets picked up, and she doesn't like being picked up herself. We feel older kids would be more in tune with her boundaries to keep her happy and comfortable. Blaire is also an excellent leash walker and non-reactive when out and about, so we think she could do well in either a single family home or apartment.
