She has good recall skills, and is learning to navigate boundaries with other dogs and people. Blair is also very food motivated, making her eager to learn. She has shown great progress and improvement since her arrival, and responds super well to training.<br/><br/>SOCIAL LIFE<br/>Blair loves people and does fantastic meeting strangers, but she is still working on practicing good manners when over-excited, so she isn't a candidate to live with young children or cats right now.<br/><br/>She is dog-selective and will need to be the only dog living in the home, although she does enjoy playtime outdoors with older, laidback dogs after a slow introduction.<br/><br/>SPECIAL TRAITS<br/>Blair has been affectionately nicknamed "Big Chonk" by her foster mom (and she seems to take great pride in her nickname!) With her gorgeous coat, soulful eyes, and confident personality, Blair is not just a dog - she's a deeply loyal best friend. She's affectionate, attentive, and has a playful spark that can brighten any home. <br/><br/>BEST HOME FIT<br/>An adopter that will have the patience and dedication to continue training is vital to Blair thriving! <br/><br/>She could do well in a range of calm home environments that allow her to be an only dog.
