Blade arrived in rescue after being surrendered and being very scared. He has settled into foster care and is starting to thrive and is ready for a forever home. His foster mom says: Meet Blade! If you need a warm, fuzzy meet or a dog that is going to love you instantly, Blade is not for you. Please understand that. Blade believes that love is earned, not rushed. New people can be a little intimidating for him, and he needs someone willing to give him the time and patience to realize the world isnt so scary. But once you're in his circle, you'll discover the sweetest, most loyal companion you could ever ask for. His favorite place in the world is curled up beside his people, soaking up every bit of love and affection they have to offer. Whether its relaxing on the couch, binge-watching your favorite shows, or simply following you from room to room, Blade is happiest just being with his family. Don't let his cuddly side fool you, he has plenty of playful energy too! He loves to run, explore, and stretch his legs, making the most of every adventure before happily settling in for a cozy cuddle session afterward.<br/>Blade is potty trained as long as he's kept on a consistent schedule, is comfortable in his crate, and walks beautifully on a leash. He truly enjoys getting out for daily strolls and spending time with his people. Blade would thrive either as your one-and-only best friend or with another smaller canine companion. Larger dogs can make him feel uneasy, so a calmer environment with smaller pups is where he shines. Blade isnt looking for someone to fall in love with him in the first five minutes. He's looking for someone who understands that the best relationships take time. If you're willing to be patient and let him open up at his own pace, you'll gain a devoted best friend whose love is deep, genuine, and absolutely worth the wait.<br/><br/>Blade is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had his teeth cleaned.<br/><br/>Blade is fostered in the Orlando area and his adoption donation is $375.
