The finder notified the local animal control and made "found dog" postings but no one came to claim him. The finder decided to hold onto him during his stray hold period and contacted us for help finding him a new home. He’d do well in a suburban or rural setting with plenty of space to run, where he can fully enjoy outdoor adventures and live his best life. <br/><br/>He’d also thrive with another dog or kids to play with, but he’s not a fit for first-time dog owners, a home with cats, or urban living. Despite his rough start, Blackjack has blossomed into a loving, loyal dog with so much to offer. He’s smart, eager to learn, and ready to be the heart of your home.
