Good Day!! My name is Bjorn and I am a 4 year old Red Brindle male. I came all the way from Down Under. I am a pretty and handsome boy that is very social, friendly and outgoing in nature. I am confident and personable and full of character with a playful, excitable and active personality. My fun, energetic presence brings life into any environment and love my zoomies!! GREYHEART Greyhound Rescue & Adoption of Michigan's Adoption Policy

GreyHeart conducts in home visits with all our applicants, therefore, our Service Area is generally limited to a 1 hr round trip from the metro Detroit Area. In the interest of the retired greyhounds we place, part of the foster application procedure includes an application interview. The purpose of this interview is to be sure the new fosters are prepared to accept the moral, physical and minor financial responsibilities involved in fostering a greyhound through GreyHeart. Due to the greyhound's calm nature and their need for a quiet environment, we generally don't place them in homes with children under the age of 6. Past experiences have shown us that adding a greyhound to that scenario has a very low chance of success.

GreyHeart Greyhound Adoption is devoted to the adoption of the retired racing greyhound. It is our objective to place as many greyhounds as possible into responsible, loving homes.
