Bishop's Story

Bishop is a 6 month old Boston Terrier puppy who is 6 months old. He is a very sweet guy but very, very high energy. He loves to play with toys and run around. At this point, he can not be trusted off leash as he has no recall, but once he bonds and gets some continued training, he will be a great dog. This is not a breed for someone who just wants a couch dog. This is a breed for lots of daily hiking and exercise although he does have Brachycephalic Syndrome, which is a narrowing of the Nasal passages. At this point the referral clinic does not want to do surgery as he is still growing and he may outgrow this genetic issue. He can still play with other dogs, toys and go for walks. Bishop is crate trained, neutered, vaccinated, up to date with flea/ tick/ heartworm prevention and microchipped. Please call 802-892-5300 for more information or fill out the online application at www.riversideanimalrescue.org
