Biscuit's Story

Hi, I'm Biscuit! I'm about a year old, and even though I'm still just a puppy myself, I recently had my very first litter of puppies and now that they're safe I can finally worry about myself a bit.

Life hasn't always been easy for me. Before I was rescued, I spent a lot of time worrying about things that dogs shouldn't have to worry about, like where my next meal would come from and whether I'd be safe.

Now I'm learning what it feels like to live inside a house.

At first, I wasn't sure about any of it. The couch, the walls, the doors, the quiet... it was all new to me. But every day I'm discovering that this house is my safe place. I'm even learning that going outside is okay because I can always come back inside afterward.

My foster family says I'm one of the sweetest dogs they've ever met. I'm calm, gentle, and very polite. I don't bark much, I walk nicely on a leash, and I haven't had any accidents in the house. I get along well with other friendly dogs, too.
Mostly, I just want to be close to my people. After everything that's happened, having a safe place to rest beside someone who cares about me feels pretty amazing.

Right now, I'm spending my days recovering, learning, and figuring out what it means to be loved.

Someday soon, I'd love to find a family of my very own. Maybe that's you.

If you think you're Biscuits furever family, please fill out the pre-adoption form:

https://www.yavapaihumanetrappers.org/preadoption-application
