Birdie (Puppy)'s Story

Meet Birdie, a sweet, low-energy puppy who is ready to snuggle her way into your heart!

Birdie is an absolute gem of a find—a calm, independent puppy who is gentle, friendly, and incredibly loving with everyone she meets. True to her calm nature, Birdie is a breeze in the house. She is already potty-trained and will reliably let you know she needs to go out by running to the door or whining. When it comes to bedtime, Birdie wants to sleep in the big bed with you more than anything, but she is currently adjusting to her crate. She might whine a little bit at first to protest, but she quickly settles down and stays calm. Because she doesn't chew on furniture or shoes and has shown no signs of separation anxiety, she will likely do wonderfully being left out of the crate entirely once she grows a bit older and can hold her potty for longer periods.

Birdie is also a quick learner who already knows the commands "sit," "come," and "no." Birdie doesn't really walk on a leash yet, so she isn't quite ready for big hikes or runs, but she is a very calm and relaxed passenger whenever it's time for a car ride. She is an incredibly social girl who is very friendly with new people and other dogs. She is especially wonderful with children; she spent time with a three-year-old child and was incredibly gentle, patient, and tolerant the entire time. Birdie has never shown any aggression, nipping, or fears of loud noises and thunderstorms. She is simply a very good puppy who is waiting for a forever home. Any family would be incredibly lucky to adopt this sweet girl!

*Estimated DOV
*Approx. 6/21/2026
*Currently 20 lbs. of CUTENESS
*Spayed, UTD on vaccines and microchipped
*Potty Trained
*Doing great with crate training
*Dog & Kid Friendly (Expected to be cat friendly)

APPLY TODAY: https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application
